The growing popularity of AI has created many challenges for organizations. How might we effectively safeguard the usage of PII data by employees and enhance their knowledge and awareness? How might we integrate novel technologies and make their use as efficient as possible?
In 2023 the company faced an urgent security issue that can affect clients data and cause leak of sensitive information. General practitioners of the company started to use AI to empower their routine tasks using open source solutions that do not provided sufficient security.
Given the company's digital innovation strategy, my design team began exploring possible solutions that could solve security issues as well as bring transparency and awareness of technology and how to use it effortlessly to different employees of the company.
As the Lead Product Designer, my role is to foster a collaborative environment where designers, stakeholders, and technical leads can leverage each other's expertise, receive constructive feedback, and grow together. I am committed to meeting the diverse needs of company's employees. This commitment is deeply rooted in company's mission.
Out of many issues identified, 3 stood out as clear problems for users and the business:

IF we create a specialized AI tool, THEN we will enable users to empower their work and speed up their routine tasks.
The platform covers different user groups and provides them with a powerful tool for routine tasks. The application allows to pick up the necessary task for which I design the use cases, taking into account specialized system prompts, personas and jobs performed by general enterprise practitioners.
The MVP launch focused on chat interaction and the use of simple prompts, which helped increase awareness of AI technology (45% did not know what AI was before the launch) and led to a 70% increase in data security.
The next releases brought a 50% increase in user satisfaction compared to the initial data, as updates were introduced: document review, presentation creation, answering questions based on company documentation and general practices.
